Deleting History (Single Entry, Date, Domain)
BetterHistory makes history management simple and precise, allowing you to delete individual entries, specific dates, entire domains, or filtered search results effortlessly.
How to Delete History Entries
1️⃣ Deleting by Date
- By default, the interface provides a Delete button in front of each date in your history.
- Clicking it will remove all entries for that day instantly.
2️⃣ Deleting by Hour
- There is also a Delete button in front of each hourly section within a day.
- This allows for hour-based history cleanup without affecting the entire date.
3️⃣ Deleting Custom Selected Entries
- You can select specific entries manually and delete only those.
- This is useful when removing certain pages while keeping the rest of your history intact.
Deleting Search Results (Keywords & RegEx)
📝 Delete by Keyword Search
- Enter a keyword in the search bar (e.g.,
"shopping"
or"YouTube"
). - Click the Delete button, and all history entries matching the keyword will be erased.
⚡ Delete Using Regular Expressions (RegEx)
For advanced filtering, you can use RegEx (Regular Expressions) to delete history entries that match specific patterns.

Deleted Entries Cannot Be Recovered!
Once you delete history, it cannot be restored. If you need to retain records before deleting, it is recommended to export your history first.
