How Does the Domain Blacklist Protect My Privacy?
BetterHistory's domain blacklist feature ensures your privacy by preventing specific websites from being recorded in your browsing history. This means your visits to blacklisted domains will never appear in your history, keeping your browsing activity clean and private.
🔒 How Does It Work?
✔ When a domain is blacklisted, BetterHistory stops saving visits to that site.
✔ All previous history related to that domain is removed when you add it to the blacklist.
✔ You can add or remove domains at any time from the BetterHistory settings.
This ensures you have full control over which websites are stored in your history and which ones remain completely private.
🛠️ How to Blacklist a Domain?
You can blacklist domains using three different methods:
1️⃣ Manually Add a Domain
- Open BetterHistory > Go to the Blacklist Domain Section > Add the domain (e.g.,
example.com
).
2️⃣ Blacklist from Search Results & History List
- Hover over a history entry and click the Blacklist button to add that domain instantly.
3️⃣ Use the Context Menu
- Right-click anywhere on a webpage and select "Blacklist this domain" from the menu.
